“THE CURSED” is a supernatural thriller set in a cozy Tennessee town where Sheriff Jimmy Muldoon ( COSTAS MANDYLOR “Mobsters”, “SAW IV”, “SAW V”) and younger brother, Deputy Lloyd Muldoon (LOUIS MANDYLOR “The Set Up”, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”), have a firm grasp of law and order until a handsome stranger, Denny White (BRAD THORNTON ”Kickboxer 4”), comes to town. As soon as White arrives, supernatural events begin to occur. Animals are slaughtered... loved ones go missing. Only a blur is spotted at each location.

Denny, having lost his girlfriend, his apartment and his highly classified job with the U.S. Army, has made his way to his best friend Bill’s (JAMES MARSHALL "A Few Good Men," "Gladiator") small town, to start over in a new career as a writer. He starts doing research for a book he is writing on southern towns. Denny delves in to the history of this particular town, and, with the help of the beautiful town librarian Sara Belmont (FRANCESCA CECIL “Rush Hour 3”) discovers that this is not the first time these killings have happened here. She helps Denny, but is also hiding a secret of her own. They begin to care for each other and sparks fly when he confronts her about her secret past.

The evil continues to kill. The Sheriff investigates these brutal slayings and has his eye on the stranger Denny. Bill finds his neighbor slaughtered and the townsfolk take matters into their own hands. The evil watches Denny and kills those around him. The Sheriff believes the killer to be Denny and arrests him when he finds Denny covered in blood holding Sara’s body. While going to the police station, the Sheriff gets a radio call to come to his house immediately. Upon his arrival, he finds his murdered daughter in the woods by his house and knows that Denny isn’t the killer.

The Sheriff and Denny join forces to fight the evil, the killer that they have learned is an evil manifested from the past, during the slave plantation days. A cruel slave owner, Bellington was cursed by the slaves and the evil began.

The Sheriff and Denny find the evil in the abandoned plantation. They try and trap and kill the monster, but are no match for his lightning quickness and strength. They fight the evil in the house, fields and the woods, eventually cornering it in the barn and setting the monster on fire. In front of the burning barn the Sheriff and Denny stand with guns drawn, look at each other... Unsure if they killed the evil or became it? In the tradition of “The Reaping” and “The Village”, “THE CURSED” is a supernatural thriller that draws on the rich and frightening folklore of the American South.
